Ilisos Scientific Inc. is led by Dr. Grant (Guohua) Xiong with a supporting team of esteemed medical and life-science advisors.
Dr. Xiong received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University in China and is a board-certified Toxicological Chemist accredited by the National Registry of Certified Chemists (NRCC, USA). With more than two decades of experience across academia, industry, and entrepreneurship, he brings deep expertise in pharmaceutical and biotech R&D, safety, regulatory compliance, and translational applications.
He previously co-founded Femtera Laboratories LLC, specializing in the development of metabolomics-based innovative tests for multi-cancer diagnostics, and has held academic research and industrial R&D positions at Northumbria University (UK), University of Waterloo (Canada), University of Minnesota, the U.S. EPA, and global biotech leaders including Covance, Sigma-Aldrich, and Eurofins.
In addition, Dr. Xiong completed the Indiana AXIS Mentoring Program, combining scientific leadership with business strategy to accelerate biotech innovation.
